Sixty years of keeping promises
Some of our donors have been giving since 1965. We have watched sponsored children grow up, graduate and go to college.
Straight to her home
Your gift is sent directly to the children’s home where your child lives, and pooled so every child there is cared for equally. Nothing is skimmed by a call centre.
You will hear from her
A letter, a photo and a questionnaire from her every year, plus a progress report from the home. Many sponsors write back.
Where $39 a month goes
Your gift goes to the home where your child lives. Local leaders who know every child by name use it for the things that keep a child safe, healthy and in school.
School fees, uniforms and supplies
Everything she needs to stay in class and keep up: fees, books, a uniform and the bus to school.
Three meals a day and medicine when she is unwell
The homes are like large families. Your sponsorship buys nutritious food, clothing and medical care for every child living there.
A safe home and caring adults
Local leaders who have given their lives to these children run each home. We support their vision. We do not replace it.
Every year, she writes to you
This is not a donation that disappears into a database. Your sponsored child sends you:
- A photo of your child
- A letter written by your child
- A questionnaire filled in by your child
- A progress report from the home’s administrator

We are a team of four, working with partner homes we have known for decades. Here is what that means for you and for the child you sponsor.
Small on purpose
Call us and a core team member picks up. We will talk with you about your child, her home and anything else you want to know. If you want a large organisation, we are not it.
Close to the children
We have known our partner homes in India for decades. Updates come from your child and the people who care for her, not from a marketing department.

Can I choose the child I sponsor?
We prefer to match each sponsor personally. Tell us your preferences, for example a girl close in age to your own child, and we will do our best. If you have no preference, we match you with the child in greatest need.
How is my money used?
Your sponsorship is sent directly to the home where your child lives and used for food, clothing, medicine, books and school supplies. It is pooled with other sponsors’ gifts so that every child in the home, sponsored or not, is cared for equally.
Can I write to my child?
Yes. We send a mail packet to each home every few weeks and will forward your letters, cards and photos. Children treasure them.
How long does a sponsorship last?
Most sponsors stay with their child until she leaves the home, often after finishing school or college. There is no contract. You can stop at any time by calling or emailing us.
What if my child leaves the home?
We will contact you, explain why, and offer to transfer your sponsorship to another child in need.
